L & M Arts, one of the leading contemporary art galleries in the world, is opening a branch like half a block from my pad on September 25th. It's a big deal in the Art world, and the Venice world, for that matter.
Paul McCarthy is the opening exhibitor. Today when I was cruising home, I saw one of his large sculptures had appeared in the exterior of the gallery's yard.
As a lot of his work tends to be, it is sort of creepy fairytale feeling. I dig it. It's going to be cool to be able to see world-class exhibits as I just go about my daily biz.
Venice. Art. Yes, please.
L & M Arts opens at 660 Venice Blvd. on September 25th.
